Jonathan Hickman succeeds in building major amounts of tension in this issue as he sheds more light on the motives of Nathaniel Richards and his grandchildren. The revelations in this issue are far outpaced by the question they raise up, but at least there's the sense that answers are coming soon.
Hickman's run is feeling more cohesive and epic with each passing issue. When Nathan questions him, Franklin gives the answer - Reed Richards.
