Windows print dialog box slow

Printer dialog box slow to open. Are there any known fixes for this? I have rebuilt the plotter folder but this has made no difference. Message 2 of Is this a sudden new problem, a problem limited to one file, or did something change with your PC over the weekend?

In reply to Diana D's post on August 23, Hi, It was working perfect before, The printing itself is ok and at a normal speed it is just when I click ctrl P or the print button the Dialogue box pops up but then it only gets slow. U re blessed beyond imaginings. It works perfectly! I was having similar print-problems in Windows since years. THIS is the solution in many cases. This is a very offending behaviour Microsoft! This is amazing, like going back in time 10 years to when computers were fast to use. Print preview adjustments are no longer torture. Printers can present a maddening range of problems to consumers.
